Bahrain Bans Entry from 16 New Countries Including Iran


Bahrain’s Civil Aviation Affairs announced the update of the list of countries on the red list by including 16 countries, including Iraq, Tunisia and Iran. The Aviation Affairs Department stated that the decision was made based on the recommendation of the National Medical Team to tackle the Corona virus and the approval of the Coordinating Committee, according to the Bahrain News Agency.
She pointed out that the countries newly included in the red list are (Mozambique, Myanmar, Zimbabwe, Mongolia, Namibia, Mexico, Tunisia, Iran, South Africa, Indonesia, Iraq, Philippines, Panama, Malaysia, Uganda, Dominican) in addition to the countries on the The pre-listed are India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal and Vietnam. Civil Aviation Affairs noted that the entry of travelers from the countries listed on the red list will continue to be suspended on all flights, including those coming from these countries who will enter the country temporarily, with the exception of citizens and holders of valid residence visas in the Kingdom of Bahrain. - Reuters
