Iranian, German Airlines Resume Flights after Six-Month Halt

The Iranian Embassy in Berlin announced the resumption of Iranian, German airlines services after a six-month halt. The Iranian Embassy said in a tweet on Saturday that an Iran Air plane landed in Berlin on the 30th anniversary of the reunification of the two Germanys (Western and Eastern) after a six-month halt, reported iranpress.com. The fall of the Berlin Wall symbolizes the collapse of fake and imposed demarcations and the need to focus on interaction and multilateralism, the Iranian Embassy said.

Secretary of the Iranian Aviation and Space Industries Association (IASIA) Maghsood Asadi Samani said in May that Iran had launched its weekly flight to Amsterdam after the coronavirus, and it is under greater control. In addition, routine and scheduled flights of Iran Air to London and Paris are taking place.

Regarding health protocols over containing the coronavirus, he said the Netherlands has announced health protocols for flights to Amsterdam, which should be strictly observed by passengers, and these health protocols also apply to passengers who have a Schengen visa or a European residence permit and similar cases,” the official said. - Mehr
