Novak: OPEC+ Might Discuss Underperformers This Month

Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said on Monday that the OPEC+ group this month may discuss countries which have underperformed in reducing their oil production, local media reported.

He said he had no information on any requests from such countries to extend the time granted to them to compensate for their overproduction, RIA news agency reported. An OPEC+ panel is due to hold an online meeting in mid-September.
