Qatar Petroleum Sells June-Loading Al-Shaheen Crude at Deep Discount

Qatar Petroleum (QP) sold two cargoes of June-loading al-Shaheen crude at an average discount of US$10.40 a barrel to Dubai quotes via its monthly spot tender, three trade sources said on Thursday. The buyers of the cargoes were not immediately known. The two 500,000-barrel cargoes were offered to load over June 1-3 and June 10-12. QP also set the al-Shaheen crude price for term buyers at a discount of US$9.89 a barrel to Dubai quotes, two of the sources said.

Last month, QP sold three cargoes of May-loading al-Shaheen crude at an average discount of US$3.07 a barrel to Dubai quotes via its monthly spot tender.
