Kuwait to Pen LNG Import Deal with Qatar

State-run Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) is due to sign a deal on Sunday to import liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Qatar, two sources familiar with the matter told Reuters. Qatar, the world's top supplier of LNG, plans to boost its production of LNG to 126 million tonnes a year (mtpa) by 2027.
