Libya's NOC Works Hard to Counter Covid-19 in Eastern & Central Regions

The National Oil Corporation (NOC)’s Sustainable Development Department delivered a supply of preventative medical equipment, including masks, gloves, medical alcohol, thermometers and other devices, to the University of Ajdabiya on 10 September 2020.

The Sustainable Development Department also provided similar support to the El-Wafa Elderly Nursing Home in the Massah area in Benghazi on 13 September 2020. It delivered two intensive care respirators to the Health Services Office in the Shura Administrative District in Kufrah.

Such deliveries reflect NOC’s commitment to limiting the spread of the coronavirus pandemic and helping meet urgent medical need across Libya.

The handover ceremony at Ajdabiya was attended by Jalal Gaderboh, Manager of the Public Services Office at the University of Ajdabiya, Al Sadig Dakhel, Manager of the El-Wafa Elderly Nursing Home, Zakaria Adam, representative of the Health Services Office in Rebiana municipality, and Mohammed Al Jehani, Fatma Ghader and Haithim El Manghoush from NOC’s Sustainable Development Department.
