Commercial Bank has announced the official opening of its new Le Boulevard Building and Branch. The iconic building includes seven floors, where varied retail shops are operating from the ground floor. The branch is located on the 1st floor of the Le Boulevard building, covering an area of 485 square meters. The branch inauguration ceremony on February 26, 2020 was attended by key dignitaries, Commercial Bank’s top officials, and was officially opened jointly by Commercial Bank Chairman Sheikh Abdulla bin Jabor Al Thani and Board Members. Located at the heart of Al Sadd, the Le Boulevard’s highlight is its high-end classic architecture and prestigious, stunning interiors that blend together to create a modern and luxurious ambiance. Sheikh Abdulla bin Jabor Al Thani said: “Since the Bank opened its doors for business over 45 years ago, our branches have always been a vital strategic channel for the Bank. Our goal is to ensure that they are located in the most convenient localities for our customers. That is why we chose to open Le Boulevard branch in the central business district of Doha to serve our customers in this dynamic area as the newest addition to our branch network.” “Commercial Bank has invested heavily to make its banking services convenient for customers. While a significant sum of this investment has been in digital products and services, branches remain integral to how the Bank delivers its services to customers, as it understands customers’ preferences for personal and face-to-face interactions with staff and Relationship Managers.” Commenting on the occasion, Joseph Abraham, GCEO of Commercial Bank, added: “Commercial Bank makes banking easy and convenient for our customers by providing access to services both online and through our branches for those who prefer to do their banking in person. Many customers use both channels by conducting their everyday transactions via Internet or Mobile Banking and then choosing to visit our branches for financial planning and more complex transactions.” He told The Peninsula the opening of the new branch is part of the bank’s continuing efforts to reshape its branch network, renovating and modernizing established sites where appropriate, to give customers a great service regardless of how or where they choose to bank.
