President of the Algerian Experts Forum (FCA) Adel Ghebouli called on Saturday for associating the Algerian experts living abroad in the efforts of reviving the national economy, offering them all the necessary instruments and mechanisms. On the occasion the 2nd conference of the FCA, held under the topic "Association of the Algerian Experts in the building of New Algeria," Ghebouli called for the implementation of structuring and administrative mechanisms allowing "the creation of genuine frameworks of liaison between the Algerian experts inside and outside the country with a view to overcoming the current challenges and building a modern Algeria."Regretting that the "Algerian experts living abroad have been long sidelined in the past," the Head of the FCA said these experts and the local ones should pool their efforts to play their role in the making of a new Algeria. The "political willingness is here and expressed in the President’s discourse. We have understood the desire of associating the Algerian experts from all backgrounds," he added. According to the same official, the FAC seeks to be the liaison point between the Algerian experts, in Algeria or abroad and the public authorities."In the aftermath of the first International Conference in September 2019, we are now willing to find practical solutions to attract the experts living in and out of Algeria," he affirmed, adding that the FCA created a website and a data basis so that the Algerians living abroad can share their experiences and expertise and set contact with the public authorities.According to Ghebouli, the emigration of experts constitutes a real loss for the State which has invested a lot in these capacities.Present at this conference, Naouel Kenoune, expert in nutrition and healthy living, established in Germany, assured that Algerian executives settled abroad are ready to invest in their country of origin if they are supported favorable conditions. These "experts are willing to invest in their country and succeed. But this requires a climate of trust," she said. Mohamed Djermani, investor in the tourism sector regretted that slow administrative procedures have hampered a project he launched in 2014."We have a beautiful country, if my experience can bring something constructive to the country, that would be very good. The authorities have to help us, in particular by eliminating bureaucracy," he said.
