Energy and technology will be at the heart of a debate that will bring together private and public sector energy and banking experts in Dubai next week. The seminar will be organized by Thomson Reuters to mark the150th anniversary of its establishment in the region.Core economic issues related to human development, including innovation, education, human capital and energy in the Middle East and North Africa, will be discussed during the function at the Dubai International Financial Center 17-19 April 2017.Leading figures, including Suhail bin Mohammed Faraj Faris Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Khalaf Al Habtour, Board Chairman of Al Habtour Group, will be among the participants."The MENA region is witnessing multi-faceted and fast-paced developments which generate myriad significant investment opportunities that need to be thoroughly reviewed and debated," said Nadeem Najjar, Director-General of Thomson Reuters.The first day of the seminar will focus on the future outlook for MENA from the economic and geopolitical perspectives, while the second day will review the future of energy in the region, and the third will review, through a series of syndicate sessions, the future of human and economic development.
