Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova H E Natalia Gavrilita met yesterday, with a delegation from Qatar Chamber led by its Chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani.The meeting, which was held at the Sheraton Hotel, was also attended by QC Second Vice-Chairman Rashed bin Hamad Al Athba, and Abdul-Rahman bin Abduljalil Al Abdulghani, a member of the Board of Directors.The meeting touched on reviewing bilateral relations at commercial and economic fields and means to enhance them, as well as the investment climate and opportunities and the role it can be played by the private sector to develop trade between both sides.The Prime Minister praised the strong relations between both countries, noting that she is looking forward to enhancing these relations to higher levels especially in commercial and investment aspects.Gavrilita also invited Qatari businessmen to visit her country and learn about opportunities galore in many sectors especially in the sectors of agriculture, infrastructure, medical tourism, tourism and others.On his part, QC Chairman paid tribute to the good relations between Qatar and Moldova, noting that despite such relations, their commercial relations are still below the aspirations of both friendly countries.
