Prime Minister Abdelaziz Djerad instructed Wednesday members of Government to set up online platforms to enable citizens carry out socio-economic activities, said the Prime Minister's Office.Speaking at the end of a government meeting he chaired at the Palace of Government, Djerad urged members of the government to speed up the implementation of measures that have been decided for the benefit of the economic sector and citizens, the same source said.He also insisted on "the synergy that must be established within central and local administrations to materialize these measures for which approvals and authorizations are required," according to the source.The PM further instructed members of the government to implement online platforms to enable exercise of economic activities, and give a fresh impetus to national economy. The government's have also received instructions to devolve all applications for authorization to provinces directorates instead of ministries, to speed up the process by significantly reducing response times, which should not exceed one month, and to streamline procedures by unifying and reducing the number of documents in the files.According to the source, the administration "must refrain from requesting documents not provided for by the regulations or legislation in force."Djerad ordered to quickly establish, at the level of each sector, a unit attached directly to the minister, for monitoring the simplification measures, in addition to the role of general inspections to track the implementation of these measures on the ground.
